Today our beloved little 8-9 year old mutt died in Northern Thailand. His name is Kanom and he was a great dog, very loving and fun and always a good boy. He will be missed by many 🙁

We love animals, cats, dogs, elephants, chickens, all! Sometimes there are terrible things to see on this website and other animal rights and activist websites. So sometimes we need to post things on a brighter note. Here are my babies, Blacky & Panda, in their new monkey outfit. They hated it, it’s too tight on their big fat bodies (LOL). So we got pics, but probably will never see them wearing this again unfortunately (unless they manage to lose some weight).

August 26th is Happy National Dogs Day 🙂 I hope you spoil your doggie siblings today!
These are pictures of the ones that have passed away already. All were absolute sweethearts in their own way. Some naughty, some feisty, some adorable, but all absolutely and completely loving to the core. Love them all very much!

Famous American boxing champion “Sugar” Shane Mosley is trying to raise money to fight against dog fighting. His motto on this subject is: “I choose to fight, dogs DON’T. Dogfighting is for cowards. Don’t do it.” I love this, another here for protecting animals and animal rights!
He is fighting Ricardo Mayorga in Los Angeles on August 29, 2015. He has an auction to which the proceeds will go towards the fight for dogs rights, protection against dogfighting. Place bids on 2 VIP tickets to this fight and meet & greet with Sugar Shane himself at Charitybuzz (the current high bid is $850)

Happy “Black Cat Appreciation Day” for 2015! Here is my very own “Blacky” (aka Blacky-mama’s). She is a sweetheart and we will be giving her extra special love for today.

Sandy Barbabell is such a beautiful person with such beautiful intentions. She lost her own pets so now, on her spare time, she goes to the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society to read to the lonely homeless animals.
You have to love the goodness and heart that she has for having such great intentions.

With all the talk about the Yulin Dog meat festival happening now, it becomes very depressing to know this is happening in our world. I just want to note some good (great!) things that are still happening.
Rita is a tiny dog, skin and bones found in Romania by the Maoland Animal Shelter. Look at how Rita has transformed from day 1 that she was found, until the most recent photo. It’s heart-warming for sure!
Lets hope that Yulin turns out to be a success, by ending the horrific cruelest “festival” in the world.
