Ingrid Newkirk (wiki) is an animal rights activist and president/founder of the most popular animal rights organization on the planet, PETA, (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
PETA (wiki) has the slogan: “Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, use for entertainment, or abuse in any way.” Their whole existence is based on saving, helping, and changing the way the world uses and abuses all animals. The unfair captures, tortures, uses of them in all the many different ways.
